Karayanis (Rothley), Theresa Jean - Of Grand Blanc, age 57, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at McLaren.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A scripture service (Parastas) will be held 7pm Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Karayanis will be at the church from 10 a.m. and Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 South Center Road, Burton, Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.
Theresa was born in Flint, Michigan on August 24, 1959, the daughter of James and Constance (Owen) Rothley. She attended Cody Elementary, Flint Southwestern High School, and graduated with an Associated degree in graphic design from Baker College-Flint. She was an avid reader and talented artist who enjoyed gardening and home design. She enjoyed having her family gathered around and was a proud mother of Nicholas, Alexander, and Michelle, and grandmother to Lillian.
Surviving are her husband Alex;
sons, Nicholas and Alexander; daughter, Michelle;
granddaughter, Lillian;
granddogs, Spike, Leo, and Winston;
parents, James and Constance Rothley, in-laws, Nikola and Marika Karayanis, brothers, James Jr., John and wife Sheila, and Jeffrey.
sisters, Patricia and husband Ron Kucinsky, Susan and husband Mark Papke, Kathleen and husband Curtis Russell
brother-in-law, Michael and wife Deena;
many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Rothley, sister-in-law , Tracy Rothley, and nephew, Thomas Rothley.
