SMITH, Connie (Gaut) - Of Flint, age 69, died Thursday, November 16, 2017
at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 12:30pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Daniel E. Martin officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Connie was born in Flint on March 17, 1948 the daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Phillips) Gaut. On August 8, 1969, she married Donald Smith in Mt. Morris.
Surviving are husband, Don of Flint;
children, Kimberly Smith and special friend Roger of Flint, Don II (Brenda) of Flint, Angela (Dave) of Florida, and Jacquelyn (Tom) of Flint;
grandchildren, Tiffany, Ryan, Brittany (Derek), Aaron, Emily, Brad, Zachary, Dyllan and Nevaeh;
great-grandson, Logan Bradley;
brother, Jimmy (Rhonda) Clark;
beloved nieces and nephews;
and her very special fur baby, Peggy Sue.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Clark, nephew, Kevin Clark, sister-in-law, Donna Lee Vroman and brother-in-law, David Earl Smith.
