COMSTOCK, Amy Christina (Evans) – of Birch Run, age 43, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 of injuries from a car accident in Florida.
Amy was born December 22, 1967 to Kenneth and Jerrie (Williams) Evans of Clio, MI. She graduated from Clio High School in 1986. She married Donald K. Comstock on September 28, 1991. Amy was a devout Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. She absolutely loved her children, whom she homeschooled.
Surviving to cherish her memory forever are: her loving husband, Donald; her children, Chelsea, Kayli, Tyler, Tori and Jillian; mother, Jerrie Healy; father-in-law, Donald L. Comstock; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Kathleen Galinski; sisters, Dawn Brookins and Alisha Evans; brother, Kenneth Evans; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws, John Gunnels, Stephanie (Comstock) Draper, Merritt and Amy Kochan, Kim Maser; nieces and nephews, Matthew and Cody Gunnels, Nick and Kelly Brookins, Walter Draper, Nickolas and Casey Adams, and Kady Jones; great niece Kaya Brookins; Godson, Gavin Corey; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Amy was predeceased by: her father, Kenneth Evans; sister, Valarie Gunnels; step fathers, Bill Young and Leo Healy.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Pastor Fred Smith officiating. Burial will be at Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1-9PM and on Saturday from 9AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to the Comstock family for a fund for the children’s future.
