KRAMER, Theodore Robert - Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Abbey Park.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Wednesday, July 24, 2013
at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Entombment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to American Diabetes Association.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Kramer will be at the church 10am Wednesday until the time of the Mass.
Theodore was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 3, 1924, the son of Lawrence and Margaret Kramer, and was a resident of the Flint area and Grand Blanc since 1957. He married Dolores Petroze on May 8, 1948 and she preceded him on September 15, 2010. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #10170. Mr. Kramer was employed by General Motors Fisher Body in Hamilton, Ohio and Grand Blanc for 43 years, retiring in 1989. Theodore resided at Abbey Park for the past 4 years.
Surviving are his 5 children, Ted, Jr. and wife Ruth, Connie and husband Ray Ranville, Tim and wife Ursi, Mary Kramer, Christopher and Cat Oslo;
17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren;
3 brothers, Ralph and wife Marion, Jerome, William and wife Barbara;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Lawrence and George; 2 sisters, Margie Gohs and Mary Ann Mahoney.
