ANDERSON, Lorie Lynn – Of Sears, age 58, died Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
Visitation 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lorie was born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 27, 1961, the daughter of Elmer J. and the late Bette J. (Burlison) Anderson.
She loved her children; grandchildren and her cats, especially Meesha.
She enjoyed reality TV, horror movies and gardening.
Lorie also loved practical jokes and jokes of the day and had an awesome sense of humor.
Surviving are children, Kristy Kingsbury, Ashlee DeMars, Amber DeMars and Colton DeMars;
grandchildren, Gabriel Kingsbury and Makenna DeMars;
great-grandchild, Collynn Kingsbury;
father, Elmer J. Anderson;
siblings, Lesa Tessman, Leann (George “Gary”) Pobocik and David (Judy) Anderson;
many nieces and nephews;
granddogs, Brinker, Toby, Malah and Dexter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kingsbury in 1982; mother, Bette Anderson in 2017; brother, Daniel C. Anderson, brothers-in-law, Jack Tessman and Norman Mackie.
