James Cornwall age 87 of Flint, Michigan passed away in peace on Monday September 10, 2018.
Born July 17th, 1931 in Florence, Wisconsin to James and Edith Cornwall, into a family of lumberjacks and farmers in Northern Wisconsin.
Jim was recruited into the Navy Reserves during the Korean War and served as a gunners mate. On March 17th, 1951 he married his high school sweetheart Nancy Markham.
He was Proceeded in death by wife Nancy and is loving father to Janice Munro and husband Chuck, Patricia Cornwall-Sand,James Cornwall and wife Carrie, Constance Gorman and husband Thomas.
His Grandchildren Kenneth, Mandi, Jaime, Matthew, Nathan, Curtis, Christopher, Courtney, Clint, Joseph, Rachel and Sophia, were the loves of his life along with his adored great-grandchildren.
We will miss this gentle man that guided us with his unconditional, selfless love and devotion, who made the world a better place.
The Cornwall Family will greet friends starting at 11:00 am Thursday, September 13, 2018 and invite you join them in a celebration of life service starting 2:00 pm at Swartz Funeral Home on Hill Rd, Flint, MI, Pastor Tony Jacobs officiating.
