Helen Ann Dreyer, age 82 of Fostoria passed away on April 18, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Helen was born November 3, 1936, in Detroit, MI. Helen was the daughter of Edward and Flossie (Hilts) Brunett. She married Fred W. Dreyer on November 6, 1954 in Lapeer.
Helen loved to work in her many flower gardens, bake treats, go fishing, quilting, creating stained glass pieces, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by her daughter- Robin ( Paul) Bruman; her sons- Fred (Teresa) Dreyer, Joe (Bobbi) Dreyer and Jeff (Ok Chin) Dreyer; her brother-Roy Brunett; her sisters-Janice Brunett and Jeanie (Doug) Andersen; her grandchildren-Brandi (Brian) Schulz, Christina (Antoinne) Caldwell, Janna (Jason) Compau, Brad (Katie) Inman, Jeffrey (Jihye) Dreyer, Paul Bruman, Matthew (Andrea) Bruman, Sarah (Vito) DeGidio and Brittney (Don) Shepard and her 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Fred W. Dreyer; her parents; her brother-Eugene Brunett and her sister Darlene Andersen.
Visitation for Helen will be on Monday, April 22, 2019, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, April 23, 2019, 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel. Celebration of Helen’s life will be held at Blackburn Chapel at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Deacon Peter Lynch will be officiating. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband at West Deerfield Cemetery.
