SHIFLETT, Robert – age 65, of Flint, passed away April 1, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2019 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint, MI 48507; Pastor Rob Prince officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on September 17, 1953, son of the late Edgar and Katherine (Binko) Shiflett. Robert was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and was passionate about all things nature. Robert worked as an electrician for the Flint Board of Education.
Robert is survived by his brothers, Edward (Barbara), David (Diane) and Thomas (Patty); niece and nephews, Kim (Tony), Dan (Leslie), Beth (Kevin), Becky (Dan), Cameron (Jaynie) and Blake; stepbrothers, Larry, Richard, Ron and Dave Isaacson. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Maralyn Shiflett.
