Juanita Williamson, age 90, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was born on June 7, 1927 in Letcher County, Kentucky to parents Henry and Hortense (Hall) Bentley. Juanita hosted all of the family parties and made sure everyone was well fed with her delicious home cooked meals. She was known to love shopping for new clothes to add to her many closets. But more than anything, Juanita loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Juanita is survived by her daughters: Glenna Sue (Ronald) Bell and Connie Kozara; grandchildren: Kenneth (Judith) Gafa, Dawn Gafa, Kimberly Kozara, and Karen Kozara; great grandchildren: Gabrielle (Nicholas) Champine, Madison Gafa, Owen Gafa, Gillian Hoag, Shane Gafa, and Vincent Gafa-Davis; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Curtis Williamson in 1974; longtime companion, Bill Kiser; step-son, Robert Williamson; son-in-law, Harry Kozara; 11 siblings. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service on Thursday. Private family interment at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. |
