HAWKE, Marian Doris – Birch Run, age 74, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Darrell Manning officiating. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Marian was born April 25, 1944 in Flint, Michigan to the late Clare and Frances (Bush) Counterman. She grew up in Genesee County and graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1962. On August 2, 1969 she married Wayne Hawke in Flint, Michigan. Marian and her husband have resided in Saginaw County for several years. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio. Marian enjoyed reading, stamp collecting, and traveling with her husband. She also liked to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
