SLOCUM, Georgeanna - Of Flint, age 98, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, November 8, 2011
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Keith McKinnies officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McLaren Visiting Nurses and Hospice.
Visitation 4-8P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Georgeanna was born in Chicago, IL on March 10, 1913. She married Wilton W. Slocum on June 17, 1941. She was a registered nurse for 40 years, retiring in 1975.
Surviving are son, Edward of Flint;
daughter, Phyllis R. and husband Christopher Bird of Irving, Texas;
Nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Wilton and sister, Ella Forsyth.
