ADAMS, Virginia J. age 77, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Flushing, Michigan, died Friday, April 5, 2019. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing. Fr. Anthony Brooks will officiate. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. If desired, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Genesee County Human Society.
Virginia was born on July 6, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to Salvatore and Giovanina (Ardito) Adamo. She was a St. Agnes High School graduate and retired from AC Sparkplug after 30 years. Virginia had a love for traveling. She was The Lettermen trio’s biggest fan and saw them perform all throughout the country.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Rose (Dr. Ruben) Marchisano; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Giovanina; and siblings, Sam Adamo, Joe Adams, Josephine (Tony) Ausiello, and Anna Adamo. |
