Thomas H. Valentine, age 90, of Fostoria died July 24, 2012 at home with his family.
Tom was born July 24, 1922 in Watertown Twp. The son of the late Charles and Esther Valentine ( Farrar ). He later married Marian Chaplin on June 26, 1947 in Bowling Green, Ohio. He served his country honorably in the US Marines in WWII. Tom was a member of the Deerfield United Methodist Church and retired from Fisher Body on South Saginaw in 1978.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed playing cards, and a very devoted lifetime Tigers fan.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Marian of 65 years,

Mary Jo Valentine,
Tom Jr. ( Debby ) Valentine,
Rick Valentine,
Sister: Jeanne ( Hollis ) Schell, sister in-law Rosabell Valentine.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Jody, Brandy, Jason, Ben, Amber, and 3 great-grandchildren: Chris, Jacob, and Natalie. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Harry.
Funeral Service Saturday 11:00 AM at Deerfield United Methodist Church. Friends may visit at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville on Friday 3-9 PM. Pastor Kay Leitelt officiating.
