Davidson, Bryan of Flint, age 81, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Kirk Bodem will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to First United Church, 1116 W. Hill Rd. Flint.
Bryan was born in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee on May 9, 1935, the son of Bryant and Irene (Woods) Davidson. He married Peggy Blye Ellison on September 14, 1968, in Flint, Michigan. She preceded him in death on February 10, 2011. He retired from General Motors. Bryan was a very active member of First United Church. He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and loved his pickup truck. Bryan was very eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will always be remembered as a very kind and loving person.
Bryan is survived by his sister, Wilma and husband Thomas McCabe; brother, Buddy and wife Judy Davidson; nephews, Patrick and wife Mary McCabe, Scott and wife Maria Davidson; niece, Kimberly and husband Dave Shugars; and several great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents and nephews, Michael and John McCabe.
