LOVEGROVE, Lance Lyle – of Clio, age 63, died Monday, January 18, 2016. Memorial services will be Monday January 25, 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 746 Saginaw St. in Flint, visitation one hour prior to service. A cremation has taken place. Contributions may be made to the National Pancreas Foundation or the University of Michigan Hospital.
Lance was born September 19, 1952, in Flint to the late Carl and Dorothy "Jean" (Alstrom) Lovegrove. He has resided in Clio since 1991. He married Victoria Jakubik on April 9, 1991. Lance retired from Fed Ex in 1997 with 25 yrs seniority. He later became a realtor for Century 21 Woodland. He went on to develop and build Foxglove Estates in Clio. Lance loved fishing and golfing and was a friend to all. He was a previous member of Clio Country Club.
Surviving are his wife Victoria, son Grant, and daughters Morgan and Mikenzie (twins) of Clio, and Kellie Exum of Grand Blanc and grandsons Jacob & Josh Exum also of Grand Blanc. Sister Delores Craine of FL, brother Carl Paul “Buck” (Karen) Lovegrove of FL, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Diane Jakus; and a brother, Jon Lovegrove.
