JOZWIAK, L. Terry – of Clio, age 73, died Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Medilodge of Montrose. The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions can be to the Old New Boys or Charity of Choice.
Terry was born October 13, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Leonard and Phyllis (All) Jozwiak. He grew up in Mt. Morris, Michigan and graduated from Mt. Morris High School with the class of 1965. On August 6, 1966 he married Carol Johnson in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Terry served in the Marine Reserves for 6 years. Prior to his retirement in 2000, he worked for GM as a Journeyman Welder at Buick City with 35 ½ years of service. He was a member of the UAW local 599, Back to the Bricks car club promo tour and led the band The Count Four as a saxophone player along with his wife who played keyboard. Terry enjoyed bowling, golfing, motorcycling, and classic cars. He also liked making welding art, dancing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Wife of 53 years, Carol, of which Terry was her best friend; Sons, Mike (Karinn) Jozwiak, Mark (Andrea) Jozwiak; Grandchildren, Nick Jozwiak, Owen Jozwiak; Siblings, Jack (JoAnn) Jozwiak, Joel (Wanda) Jozwiak; several nieces and nephews, and good friends Keith, Ken, and Leroy.
