WRIGHT, James "Jim" E. - Age 77, of Flushing, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2PM until time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Jim was born February 7, 1941 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Seymore and Kathryn (Kelly) Wright. Jim attended Cranbrook and graduated from Flint Central High School. He Co-owned and operated with his brother John, Fisher-Wright Mechanical for several years. He was also the President of the Flint Association of Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors from 1992 to 1994. He married Lorraine Starr on December 15, 1998 in Flushing. Jim enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Flint Golf Club for many years. He also had the opportunity to play at his favorite course, Pebble Beach, CA. a few times during his life. Jim enjoyed having his morning coffee on the back patio, watching the wildlife and birds in the garden. He also loved attending all his grandchildren's activities with Lorraine. He enjoyed listening to music. Surviving are: wife Lorraine Wright of Flushing; children, Julie Wright of Flint, John (Kim) Wright of Flushing, Tamara (Randy) McCracken of Freeland, Christopher Ager of Owosso , Sarah (Aaron) Conant of Portage. Jim is also survived by his grandchildren, Ben, Jake, McKensey (Josh), Darby, Peri, Austin, Andrew, Logan, Brayden, Meghan, Ethan; great grandchildren, Vera and Remi; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Judy Holden; brothers, Charles and John Wright; 3 sisters, Helen Miller, Evelyn Plamondon, Dorothy Zimmer.
