REEVES, Conal Oscar – Of Birch Run, age 86, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, June 30, 2017 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., in Flint. Rev. Gary Beck officiating. Burial to follow in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Thursday from 3PM until 8PM and at the church on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Conal was born March 15, 1931 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to the late Oscar and Nealy (Masters) Reeves. He married Dorothy Eaves on October 28, 1950 in Lepanto, Arkansas. She preceded him in death in 1997. Conal later married Donna (Ketterer-Emery) at St. Mark Lutheran Church in 1999. Mr. Reeves retired from General Motors as a tradesman in 1983 after 31 years of service. Conal was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Flint for 18 years. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling around the country in his RV, and especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife, Donna Reeves; Children: Dan (Gail) Reeves, Deb Wiseman, Debra (Mike) Hoover, Derena (Jeff) Olsen, and Dale Emery; Grandchildren: Jennifer Reeves, Kevin (Kelli) Reeves, Shana (Brian) Beeckman, Tiffany (Mike) Taylor, Melissa Hoover, Aaron (Ashley) Olsen, Amanda (Roy) Olsen, Nick Emery, and Corey (Stephanie) Hoover; 11 great-grandchildren; Brother-in-law, Don (Nancy) Ketterer; Sister-in-law, Mary Reed.
