James Marvin Heidel, 76, formerly of Flint, MI joined our heavenly father on Wednesday,
December 12, 2018. Memorial Service will be held 2PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at West Flint Church of Nazarene 2254 S. Dye Road, Flint, MI 48532.
James was born and raised in Flint, MI. After graduating from Kearsley High School in 1960 he joined the US Army and served in Korea. Following his faithful service he became employed with GM and worked at AC Spark Plug – Plant 7 until his retirement. ‘Jimbo’, as many friends referred to him, was a loving son, father, grandfather, husband and man. He enjoyed making people laugh and was kind to all that he met. He loved karaoke and it was hard to find him not humming, whistling or singing. He lived his life with joy and happiness. For many years he was an active member of the Moose Lodge in Grand Blanc, and the F.O.E of Burton and Flint 629.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine, his siblings Howard & William Heidel. He has 3 children Jay, Jerrid & Joseph and their mother Janet. In addition he has grandchildren Jacob, Jacy, Larkin & Gracin. His step family Mark & Becky Salsgiver; Joe & Sandy Dixon; Bob & Amy Morton. He was loved by all. James was preceded in death by his parents Jacob & Charlotte.
