MILLER, Larry Wayne – of Burton, age 65, passed away January 25, 2018 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Larry was born in Stanford, KY on August 11, 1952, son of the late William C. Miller and Mary H. (Stephens) Miller Doan. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1971-1973. Larry was a drummer for the band Magic 5 and formerly of the bands Stinger and Nick Garvey. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing and spending time with his kids and animals.
Larry is survived by his children, Joel (Hannah Shourd), Cara Lawrence, Misty Mitchell and Larry Mitchell; grandson, Ayden Shourd; brother Mike (Pat) Miller of North Branch; sisters, Grace Sebastian of Columbus, IN and Virginia Caudle of Flint; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin Miller, Paul Miller and Robert Miller; sisters, Sharon Rose Fulkerson and Donna Kathy Miller.
