Leona E. Wright, 83, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at her home on Thursday, August 2, 2012. She was born in Flint, Michigan on February 6, 1929, the daughter of John & Katherine (Maliak) Dzido. She married David Wright on September 30, 1950 in Flint, Michigan. He predeceased her in 2001. She was employed at McLaren Hospital in Flint as a LPN. She had lived in Gladwin County since 1987, previously residing in Fenton, Michigan and she was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Edenville and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her daughter: Lori Hunt of Flint; grandchildren: Jeremy, Alicia (A.J. McDonald), David (Brandy) and Nicole; great grandchildren: Cheyenne, Alina, Isabella, Mariah, Jasmine, Coleden, Dominic, Austin and Evan; sisters: Lillian Barclay of Arizona, Joann Kroska (Rick Cavitt) of Davison; several nieces and nephews; special friend Douglas Boortz of Gladwin. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son: David Wright, son in-law: Patrick Hunt. Funeral services will be conducted by Fr. Christian Tabares on Monday, August 6, 2012, 11:00 A.M., with the visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Edenville, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 3-9:00 P.M. with a Rosary service at 7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
