YAKLIN, Richard C. – Of Flint, age 89, died Monday, August 21, 2017 at MediLodge of Grand Blanc.
Cremation has taken place and private interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery to be announced.
Dick was born on November 18, 1927 in Maple Grove, New Lothrup, Michigan, the son of Anthony and Eleanore (Hennesey) and was from a family of seven brothers and five sisters.
He spent two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean Crisis.
Mr. Yaklin began employment with Hardy Bakery in Flint, later bought in 1970 Ric’s 11th Frame Lounge.
He was a member of the Burton Eagles and the Burton Moose.
Surviving are son, Rick Yaklin and grandson, Ricky Yaklin.
