CRAM, Laurie L. - Of Swartz Creek, age 49, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Friday, September 19, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,

Pastor Rob Prince officiating.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Those desiring may make contributions to Camp Quality Michigan.

Visitation 1-3pm and 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Laurie was born in Flint on April 13, 1965, the daughter of Elmer and Kathryn (Ellis) McAfee. She graduated from Carman High School, Class of 1983. On September 15, 1990, Laurie married Jon Cram in Davison. She worked at UAW Legal Services for almost 20 years. Laurie loved camping, going on vacation, entertaining people, baking and gardening. She attended Central Church of the Nazarene. Laurie was a loving woman who never met a stranger. She had a way to make everyone feel special.

Surviving are husband, Jon;

mother, Kathryn McAfee;

siblings, Donna and husband Eugene Compton, Brenda Hawkins, Sandy McAfee and Pat, Junior and wife Vickie McAfee, Doris and husband Ed O’Dell, Melinda and husband Kevin Baker;

father and mother-in-law, Ted and Sandy Cram;

brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Traci Cram and Jeni and Greg Palmer;
and many loving nieces and nephews whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer McAfee Sr, sister, Mae Whitehead and niece, Paytie Cram.
