David, age 67, passed away on September 9, 2020. David was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on March 31, 1953 to the late Keith Knapp and Gloria Knapp. David served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1977, was stationed in Hawaii and retired as an E4 with an honorable discharge. David enjoyed football, basketball, poker, fishing and bowling. He was passionate about his cooking abilities and was well known in the community for his great tasting food.
Surviving are his ex-wife Victoria Knapp of Flint, son Keith Knapp of Davison and daughter Lisa Knapp of Flint. Sisters include Carol Greene of Flint, Cindy Battles of Mount Morris, Sherrie of Mount Morris, Julie (Terry) Lamb of Arkansas. Brother, Steve (Connie) Knapp of Kentucky. Nieces and nephews, Linda, Michelle, Jodi, Brian, David, Greg, Randy, Kara, Charlene, Steven, and Autumn. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
