Bleau, Marlene A. of Flint, age 78, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Rossell Funeral Home, Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Sunday until time of the services at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army or St. Robert School Fund.
Marlene was born in Flint, MI on August 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Thurland and Gertrude (Gramza) Wagner. She married James L. Bleau in Flint on September 7, 1957. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2008. Marlene was a homemaker who always seemed to want to take care of others. She raised five children and loved to spend summers at Sand Lake with her family and friends. Together with her husband Jim, they enjoyed spending their retirement winters in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Marlene is survived by: four children, Linda Cole, Dennis Bleau, Carole Bleau, Jimmy Bleau (wife Jackie); ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Bleau, and brother, Gerald Wagner.
