MOULTON, Johnie Ralph Jr. - Age 66, of Fenton Township, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Chaplain Gerald Woodruff officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-9 PM and Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM at the funeral home and Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Johnie was born December 17, 1944 in Flint, the son of Johnie R. Sr. and Edith (Jones) Moulton. He was a 1963 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and had attended Cleary College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Johnie married Georgetta Watts July 17, 1972 in Florida. He joined the Fenton Township Fire Department in 1985 and had been Fire Chief for the past 20 years. Surviving are: wife, Georgetta; 3 children, Jamie Compeau of Fenton, Johnie R. Moulton III and wife Lindsay of Swartz Creek and Christie Rodenbo and husband Kevin of Flint; 4 grandchildren, Mark, Kalie, Delanie and Ava; 1 great grandson, Deton; 2 sisters, Barbara Pearson and husband Jim of Daytona Beach, FL and JoAnn Strayhorn and husband Ed of Grand Rapids; several nieces nephews.
