Marie E. Bell, age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Pines of Goodrich. Marie was born on February 1, 1932 in Clarkston to parents James and Jennie (Emery) Bennett. She was a member at Goodrich United Methodist Church, and for 14 years, a member at Jayco Horizons Trailer Club. Her husband Lloyd owned and operated Baldy’s Service at Atherton and Center Roads in Burton for 31 years. Marie is survived by her daughters: Connie (Norm) Nicklas, and Kay (Norm) Tomes; grandchildren: Andy (Bridget) Nicklas, Kara (Jim) Dittrich, Bridgette Tomes, Elizabeth (Ryan) Duck, Ben Tomes; great grandchildren: Liam, Addison, Miles, Will, Delanie, Coy, and Jack; brother; Emery (Nita) Bennett; niece, Beth (Joe) Millerschin, nephew, John Bennett; great nieces and nephews: Kelsey, Kara, and Jake. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Lloyd Bell; infant twin sons: Darrell and Dale Bell. Please consider making a memorial contribution to Goodrich United Methodist Church or Hometown Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Rd., Goodrich. Rev. Won D. Kim officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 1-4pm and 6-8pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, and again at the church, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am on Thursday. |
