DANIEL, Kay, of Flushing, age 72, died Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Genesys Hospital. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Rossell Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 4 and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Kay was born in Flint, Michigan on May 8, 1946 to Edward and Mary (Bonno) Long. She graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in 1964. She married Edward Lee Daniel on May 22, 1965. She retired from AC Delco after 30 years of service. When she wasn’t working and raising her children, she always enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. Kay enjoyed many activities and different venues including ballparks, golf courses, bowling, antique shopping and anything that involved her grandchildren.
Kay is survived by Edward Daniel; their children, Rebecca Daniel, Amy Atkinson, and Adam Daniel; their grandchildren, Joshua Atkinson, Ashlee Atkinson, Bryce Daniel, and Brayden Daniel; her siblings, Eddie (Diana) Long, Janet Brandt, Suzie Long, Tom (John Cartier) Long, and Donna Long; and her many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Chad; parents, Edward and Mary Long; and siblings, John (Christa) Elford, Jack Long, and Danny Long. |
