FITCH, John E. - Of Mt. Morris, age 62, died Thursday, July 6, 2017
at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11:30am Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
John was born in Flint on August 6, 1954, and resided in the Flint area all of his life. On December 10, 1988, he married Arlyce Mae Tinnin. He proudly served in the United States Army. John retired from General Motors Truck Plant in 2007 after 30 years of service.
Surviving are wife, Arlyce;
Children, Johnny and Julie and their children, Kara and Alissa; Sean and Annaka and their children, Michael, Cash and Ryder; Elizabeth and Bill and their children, Ethan and Emma; Brett and Katie and their children, Colton and Jase; Stacy and her children, Kayla and Michael;
mother, Iva Schofield;
special aunt, Ina Haverhals;
sisters, Dori Bair, Phyllis Hill and Shannon Fitch (Jerry);
brother, Bill and wife Cindy Fitch;
many nieces, nephews, including special friend, Carl Bair.
He was preceded in death by his father, John and sister, Cindy Weatherford.
