Sharon was born in Flint, Michigan on January 22, 1947, the daughter of the late Charles and Leona (nee Ososki) Grudnicki. Sharon attended All Saints Elementary, Holy Rosary Elementary, Dominican Sisters of Oxford (entered age 13-age 30 and received dispensation to care for her sister Denise) Dominican Academy, Class of 1965. She received several degrees from Oakland University, U of M, University of Texas where she excelled in nursing, gerontology, oncology specialist and finally attained her Nurse Practitioner license. In her travels, she worked at Lourdes Nursing Home of Waterford MI, Flint FOH, MD Anderson of Houston, UTMB of Galveston, Texas. In her final years before retirement, she taught nursing at UTMB Brownsville, South Texas College of McAllen, Texas. Sharon was a devoted sister to Denise for almost 45 years until her death in 2019 at age 57. Never tiring, always putting Denise above all else even above the cost of her own health. Sharon was unwavering. She always had good nursing advice for those who needed it and stayed in contact with everyone. Although her last years were hard, she always accepted her health issues with a brave face. We will miss her daily “checking in “but we know she is in Heaven with Denise, Mom, Dad and Gail. Rest in peace our dear sister, we love you!
Surviving are sisters, Barbara (Douglas) Moore, Charlene (Kenneth) Ferguson;
nieces, Lori Ferguson, Dawn Jenish; Nephews Kevin Ferguson, Brian Moore;
