Rosanne M. August “Rose” - age 72, passed away on Monday October 7, 2024 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Life Community Lutheran Church in Swartz Creek MI at noon on October 26, 2024. Visitation will start at 11AM at the Church. In lieu of flowers consider donations to Fenton Adopt a Pet.
Rose was born in Bowling Green Ky to the late Bud and Mary Lewis She moved to Michigan as a young child and made a wonderful life here.
On February 16, 1985 she married her best friend Eric August in Grand Blanc, Ml. She was a member of New Life Community Lutheran Church and a proud member of New Life’s Woo Hoos.
She enjoyed hunting rocks and shells.
She also enjoyed her gardens and family. One of her favorite spots was Ft. Myers Beach, where she walked and hunted shells. She also fostered kittens for Adopt- A-Pet of Fenton and enjoyed helping out at Flint Mission Network.
She leaves a loving husband Eric, two daughters, Jennifer (Brian) and Andrea; 3 grandchildren Katherine, Gordon and Aaron. She leaves her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
