CASSIDAY, Diana Lynn “Tootie”, age 72, of Clio, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her home. A private graveside service will be held. Interment at Cook Cemetery. Pastor Cathi Huvaere officiating. Diana was born on April 18, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Arthur J. and Gladys (Loomis) Cassiday. She grew up in Burt, graduating with the class of 1966 from Birch Run High School. Diana also attended Central Michigan University. Prior to her retirement, she worked many years as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Royalite Electric, Brighton Electric and Grey-Bar. She had a passion for books, playing euchre, scrabble, golf, going to the casino and her beloved U of M Football Team. The Sunday crossword puzzles were no match for her. Diana finished them, and in ink.
Surviving are: Siblings, Carol (James T.) Lane, Arthur “Larry” (Mary) Cassiday; Nieces, Peggy Lane, Sherri (Troy) Schwartz, Amy Jo (Tim) Brill; Nephew, Steven (Jamie) Cassiday; Aunt, Addie Cassiday; many great nieces, nephews, and a great great nephew; Special CMU friends, Debbie, Joy, Carol, Eileen; her Special Angel Caregivers, Ty and Cee-Cee.
