MATSON, Dattie Merle - Of Owosso, age 81, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 1pm Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dattie was born in Norman Park, Georgia on September 10, 1937, the daughter of the late Ralph and Leola (Bozeman) Jackson. She was as a teller at Montrose State Bank and was then employed with Meijer for many years as an accountant. Dattie loved spending time in Florida where she lived for many years in Tarpon Springs. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are children, Ronald (Edith), Jim (Kim), Chuck (Dawn), and Russell;
11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren;
and aunt, Dorothy Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell, second husband Robert Matson, parents, and brother, Joe Jackson.
