VANWAGONER, Jolene Lee - Of Millington, age 80, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Welcome Home Assisted Living in Owosso.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Private burial in Millington Township Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8pm Friday and 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jolene was born in Flint on November 24, 1937, the daughter of the late August and Ina (Cimmery) Anaman. On December 20, 1973, she married John VanWagoner. Jolene retired from General Motors in 2003. She loved arranging flowers, baking wedding cakes, reupholstering furniture, camping, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Ray Eastridge, Sherry Eastridge, Janice Kagen, Judy Eastridge and John and wife Sara VanWagoner;
grandchildren, Jackson, Melissa, Mandy, Melody, Felicia, David, Amara, Isabella, Emma and Liliana;
many great-grandchildren;
sisters, Maxine and husband Bob Richards and Sandra Woodrow;
many nieces and nephews;
and special friends, Cindy Dowen and Randy Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. VanWagoner Sr., son, Larry Eastridge, grandson, Billy Dean and sister, Donna Jorgenson.
