Lawrence J. “Larry” McArthur of Davison age 73, died Saturday February 9, 2019 at McLaren Flint. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday February 12, 2019 at Davison United Methodist Church 207 E. Third St. Davison. Rev .Bo Rin Cho officiating, burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive visitors from 3-7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Larry will lie in state at the church Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Larry’s memory to the Hurley Children Foundation.
Lawrence was born in Columbus Ohio on November 29, 1945 the son of the late Donald J & Yvonne C (Anderson) McArthur and has resided in the Davison area for many years. He was a member of AFSCME Local #814 and an active member of the Davison United Methodist Church. Larry had been employed by Hurley Medical Center Public Safety Department for over twenty-five years retiring in 2006.
Surviving is daughter April (Derek) Holmes, granddaughter Samantha, sister Sue (Nelson) Basner, brothers Tim (Becky) McArthur, Greg (Jean) McArthur, and many other relatives and friends.
