Harris, Priscilla of Flushing, age 63, slipped peacefully into Heaven at 2 p.m. on December 8, 2019, at Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2019, at Flushing Community Church. Pastor Terry Bate will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be 9 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the service at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing Community Church.
Priscilla was born in Flint, Michigan on January 12, 1956, the daughter of Jose and Irene (Alvarado) Hernandez. She married Thomas Harris on April 5, 1984, in Jacksonville, Florida. Priscilla was a perfect wife, excellent mother and wonderful Nana to her grandchildren. She was employed by General Motors for 26 years. Priscilla had a gift for making everyone she met feel like they were best friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Priscilla is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Aubrey Harris, Torrey (Vicki) Harris, Tyler (Amber) Harris; grandchildren, Madisen, Lacy, Lucas; mother, Irene Hernandez; sister, Becky Smileski; nieces and nephews, James, Tonya, Leah, Lana; and many other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
