HART, Thomas Hosking, II “TH” – Of Flushing, age 62, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan or Blissfest Music Organization.
Thomas was born in Flint, Michigan on November 11, 1953, the son of Thomas and Ruth (Martin) Hart.
Thomas enjoyed his time in Alaska while serving his country in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Hart retired from GM after more than 30 years of service.
He was an avid fan of horse racing, hockey, traveling, music, spending time outdoors and enjoyed attending his nieces and nephews sporting events and other activities.
Surviving are wife, Sue;
daughter, Lorraine (Jeffrey) Buis;
daughter in spirit, Julie (Philip) Calleja;
mother, Ruth Hart;
grandchildren, Ada, Josie, Gladys and grandchildren in spirit, Colin, Adelina and Riley;
sister, Renee (Anthony) Pietrangelo;
brother, John (Patricia) Hart;
nephews and nieces, Anthony, Vincent, Katie, Missy, Madison, Riley;
many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Larry and Tony, who helped with his care;
lifelong friend, Lee Boyer.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Hosking Hart.
