SHEDD, Thomas Edward - Of Burton, age 77, died Monday, February 26, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, March 3, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am-8pm Friday and 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Thomas was born in Flint on January 19, 1941, the son of Sherman and Helen (Hogue) Shedd. Thomas was employed with General Motors in Skilled Trades for 44 years. On August 24, 1961, he married Judith Hodson at the First Presbyterian Church in Flint where he was also a member. Tom was an avid sports fan.
Surviving are wife, Judith;
daughter, Lori (Harry) Bourne, son, Tommy Shedd Jr., daughter, Julie (Rod) Potter, son, Michael Shedd, son, Scott (Meagan) Shedd and daughter, Trisha (Jason) Ethridge;
grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Arieanna, Cody, Kyle, Michael, Alexis, Avery, Nolan, Tucker, Ryan, Madison, Easton and Ella;
7 great-grandchildren;
brother Richard (Linda) Shedd; sister, Sandra (George) Kitchen;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy
