BISSONNETTE, Edna – of Davison, age 93, on December 24, 2017, our loving mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 PM Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 10-11 AM Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Edna was born in Flint, MI on February 18, 1924, daughter of the late James and Josephine (Flood) Kidd. She married Loren J. Bissonnette at St. Michaels in Flint on August 17, 1946. Edna was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison and the VFW Auxiliary in Davison. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards, puzzles and especially loved spending time with her family.
Edna is survived by her children, Dennis Bissonnette, Thomas (Jenny) Bissonnette, Karen Stohon, Susan (John) Novak, Donald Bissonnette; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brothers, Norbert Kidd, Robert (Bette) Kidd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Bissonnette; 2 granddaughters, Katie Green and Jill Stohon; son-in-law, John Stohon; brother, Gerald Kidd; sisters, Muriel McNicol and Lillian Kidd.
