Hoover, Edith M. – of Mt. Morris, age 71, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at McLaren – Flint. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Monday, December 1, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-9 PM and Monday from 2 PM until time of service.
Edith was born January 3, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Walter and Hannah (Gill) Hoover. She retired from Meijer in 2004 with 23 years of service. Edith was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary - Chevrolet Post #3087 in Flint. She enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting. She was also an avid fan of "Don Imus in the Morning" and Anderson Cooper.
Surviving are: 2 children: Hollis (Christy) Marsh of Flint and Tina Marsh and Brian Smith of Marysville, Ohio. 2 grandchildren: Kurtis Latoski and fiancée, Kristin and Aubrey Marsh. 2 great granddaughters: Kaitlynn and Kayleigh Latoski. Brother: Terry Hoover; Sisters: Charlotte Finkbeiner and Nina Burkhardt. Edith was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Marie Marsh. |
