James “Jimmy” R. Miller, age 53, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. He was born on February 1, 1964 in Flint to parents James and Valerie (Murray) Miller. Jimmy loved traveling, going shopping for gifts for his family and friends. He had a very tender heart and he loved all animals. More than anything, Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family at reunions, birthdays, and all other gatherings. Jimmy is survived by his father, James Miller; siblings: Rodney (Leighann) Miller, Troy (Monique) Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Jackie Townsend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Valerie Miller, on May 30, 2017; grandparents: Ralph and Thelma Murray, Carl and Lois Miller. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 6-9pm and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the family. |
