KRUSE, Kenneth Andrew - of Lapeer, age 74, passed away November 22, 2015 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Friday and 9-10 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Whaley Children’s Center.
Kenneth was born in Flint, MI on April 15, 1941, son of the late Christian and Lydia Kruse. He graduated from Flint Northern in 1959. Kenneth was a member of the Eagles. He loved the Detroit Lions and was a season ticket holder for 47 years. Kenneth enjoyed classic cars, the cabin in Houghton Lake and the family farm in Elba. He retired from GM as a Committee Man.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Ken “Kris” (Andrea) Kruse, James (Melissa) Kruse, Jackie (Mike) Porter and Julie (Andy) Brown; beloved friend, Karen Renico and her children, Christie Newsome and Nikki Renico; brothers, Donald Kruse, Paul (Lisa) Kruse; sister, Mary Borden; grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Melanie, Kris, Kate, Lexi, Eastyn, Taylor, Dillon, Emersyn, Colton, Brayden, Landon, Trenton, Ella and Mason; great-grandchildren, Parker, Preston, Cole, Carlie and Camden; beloved niece and nephew, Laura and Jason; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved dogs, Sarah and Gretchen.
