ORME, Janis Kay (Abrams) – Of Grand Blanc, age 63, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her residence.
Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 West Court Street, Flint, Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice.
Visitation 2 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the church.
Janis was born in Springfield, Illinois on May 7, 1952, the daughter of Vincent and Margaret (Perrin) Abrams,
She graduated from Bentley High School Class of 1970 and was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church.
Janis married Michael Orme on July 8, 1972 at Court Street United Methodist Church.
Janis enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, reading, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, Michael;
two daughters, Heather and husband Karl Daum of Cedar Springs, MI,
Lisa and husband Andy Epton of Collinsville, VA;
two grandchildren, Isabelle Williams and Macgregor Epton;
mother, Margaret Abrams of Burton;
sister, Linda Sue and husband Lee Lehman of Howell;
several nieces and nephews;
best friend, Bobbie and husband Jim Hounam of Davison.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Abrams.
