PENOYER, LG - of Clio, age 86, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at his residence. Social Distancing Rosary Friday, May 29, 2020 5pm at Calvary Cemetery Mount Morris. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
L.G. was born August 21, 1933 to the late Roy and Myrtle (Selleck) Penoyer in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Kearsley High School and attended Michigan State University for a year. On March 14, 1969, LG married the love of his life, Violet Jean Blaska. He served in the National Guard and worked as an estimator for Conex Excavating for nearly 30 years. LG attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Mount Morris. He raced homing pigeons, enjoyed bowling, racing snowmobiles and hunting. LG was the owner/operator of Jeanies Clothing store, Treehouse Clothing Store and Flint Salvage.
Surviving are: Children: Debbie (Dave) Altman of Georgia, Vicki (Shea) Bradshaw of Coulter Ville Ca., Bruce Penoyer (friend Susan) of Crecent City Ca., Kathy (Roger) Klamert of Clio, Kim Wisenbaugh of Mount Morris, Kevin Penoyer of Rio Vista Ca., Stephenie Bradshaw (S.O. Billy Waire) of Flushing, MI.; Grandchildren: Ryan Penoyer of South Lake Tahoe, Taylor Penoyer (Kylyn) of South Lake Tahoe, Jalasia Jenson of Coulter Ville Ca., Sarah Sies (S.O. Kenzie) of Owosso, Samuel Sies of Clio, Jason (Kosi) Bedore of Missouri, Eric (Heidi) Altman of Missouri, Nathaniel (Amanda) Klamert of Clio, Joshua Klamert of Clio, Billy Waitre III of Flushing; Great-Grandchildren; Ali, Sadie, Charlotte, Eli, Blake.
LG was preceded in death by his loving wife Jean Penoyer, son Roy Wisenbaugh, grandsons Nickolas and Josh; grandaughter Jennifer Rebecca
