WINIGER, MARIA KLARA age 80, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her home. Memorial Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Monsignor Jerry Vinke, officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Maria was born September 8, 1935 in Ascaffenburg, Germany, to parents Willhelm and Sabina Groll. She married Francis Edward Winiger October 12, 1957. Maria was a seamstress, homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church 55 and over. Surviving are sons Anthony William Winiger, Michael Joseph Winiger; grandchildren Taylor, Ryder and Jacob; cousins Gunther Gies and family, Feucht Wangen, Germany and Horst Grossmann, Aschaffenburg, Germany; nieces and nephews; special friends Ruth and Don Killian and Erica. Preceded in death by husband Francis Edward Winiger in 1996 and her parents.
