Dearing, Mildred L. of Flushing, age 85, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Rossell Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Scherbarth will officiate. Private burial will take place at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Mildred was born in Flint, Michigan on January 8, 1930, the daughter of Gustav and Bertha (Ludwig) Koenig. She married Ramon “Bud” Dearing on October 22, 1949, in Flint. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1998. Mildred was employed by Citizen's Bank for 22 years, retiring in 1986. She was an avid Detroit Tiger's fan and enjoyed traveling to various ballparks around the country to watch them play.
Mildred is survived by her children, Vicki and husband Timothy Schram, Gary and wife Lore Dearing, Debra and husband Steven Magryta; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Popovits, Brian Dearing, Kristin (Ryan) Boyd, Caitlin Schram, Emily Schram; great-grandchildren, Mason and Emma Popovits; brother, Melvin (Aurelia) Koenig.
