PATTY, Harold T. "Moe" - age 84 of Swartz Creek, died Friday, September 28, 2012 at Homewood Village. Services will be held 12 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with David A. Paher officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association. Mr. Patty was born November 6, 1927 in Bernie, MO, the son of Pat and Carrie (Taylor) Patty. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Force. Moe retired from Buick Motor Division on February 1, 1993 after 46 1/2 years of service. Surviving are: son, Harold Kenneth "Ken" Patty and wife, Lorri of Swartz Creek; two daughters, Marilyn Gillis and husband, Carlos "Scott" Gillis of Flushing. Merlene and husband, Bill Black; four grandchildren, Steven (Chelsea) Gillis, Brian Gillis, Brittney (Robert) Kachelski; Eric Patty; special cousins, William Taylor and Janice (Bill) Lawrence of Swartz Creek; many other family members and friends.
