LeCLAIRE, Michael E. – of Burton, age 68, passed away October 16, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center - Grand Blanc. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 PM Monday, October 20, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison ; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial, with Military Honors will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison . There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Monday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Logan’s Heroes.
Michael was born in Flint, MI on August 13, 1946, son of the late Elmer and Rachel (Depuydt) LeClaire. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Michael was a member of the American Legion and the NRA. He loved hunting, fishing and camping.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael Jr. (Debbie) LeClaire; grandchildren, Logan, Michael, Madison and Craig; nieces and nephews, Paul Pettibone, Philip Pettibone, Greg Pettibone, Ann Marie Hayden and Tejehette LeClaire. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria LeClaire; sister, Marlene LeClaire-Pettibone; brothers, Dave LeClaire and Gary LeClaire; nephew, Terry LeClaire.
