MILLER, Harold Phillip -- Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died June 17, 2019. Services will be held 12:30 PM Sunday June 30 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Pastor Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. In honor of Harold's deep love for his canine companions those desiring may make contributions to Labrador Retriever Rescue, https://www.3clr.org/. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel.
Harold was born August 14, 1939 in Flint the son of Phillip and Mary (Asmus) Miller. He resided in Swartz Creek since 1947. He graduated from Swartz Creek Mary Crapo High School in 1957, Flint Junior College and attended Michigan State University. He was co-owner of Creamline Dairy.Harold was a charter member of the Cross Church, a former member of the Davison Missionary Church, and a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. He was commodore of the Higgins Lake Boat Club. Harold will be remembered for his deep faith, his humor, and his sense of adventure. He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Alane (Darren) Howell of Los Angeles CA, Alicia Scramlin of Fortville IN; grandchildren,Christopher Scramlin (Stephanie), Kristen Scramlin, Abigail Howell; many nieces, nephews and cousins; family friend, Tim McLeod. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 5 sisters, Martha Bush, Ella Yurk, Esthur Yurk,Clara Munro, Jean Knoll. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
