ADAMSON, Dillard – Of Columbiaville, age 75, died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time for the service at the funeral home.
Dillard was born in Cullman, Alabama on December 29, 1942, the son of the late Hoyt and Inez (Roberson) Adamson.
On April 25, 1964 he married Julie Fox in Clio, Michigan.
He was a member of the Columbiaville Sportsmen Club, and the Eastern Michigan Sportsmen Association. He loved hunting, fishing and especially loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Adamson retired from GM.
Surviving are wife, Julie;
son, Dillard Roy Adamson and girlfriend Toni Stegall,
daughter, Paula and husband Mark Fox;
grandchildren, Ariana and Alayna Adamson, Stevie Smith, Samantha and Macie Fox;
four sisters, Faye Walsh, Betty Peters, Carolyn Roberson and Brenda Pless;
father-in-law, Harold Fox;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother; three sisters and mother-in-law, Bertha Fox.
